Our camp is unlike any other horse camp!!
Our campers get to ride and be with/around horses ALL day & EVERY day!
To nurture the camp experience to its fullest our campers are in small groups.
CAMP HIGHLIGHTS
Each day has it's own theme: Introduction & Team Work Day, Demo Day, There’s More to Horses Than Riding Day!
We also have a great Parent Pop In opportunity where parents can take pictures of their child with and on the horses.
Intro & Team Work these includes getting to know each other, the horses and the farm. Fun games and activities that promote working together with horses and humans. During the Team Work session campers get to enjoy fun games that cultivate positivity to other campers through games on horseback. This day is dedicated to learning the farm safety and setting the tone for the week.
During the DEMO the campers get try different types of riding (western, english, bareback) and they get to see other professional riders show off some cool skills as well. We also invite a vet and farrier over to have a discussion and demo for the kids to learn more about the horse’s hooves and any health questions they have.
There's More to Horses is all about what else goes into having and caring for horses. From learning about massaging, stretching and important grooming requirements to farm details. Of course, there is more riding too!!
On Parent Interactive sessions parents are assigned a time frame to enjoy fun games with and without the horses with their camper. Bring your camera and enjoy the fun!
**Camp runs 9:30am-3:00pm**
This camp is beginner friendly but NOW has NEW activities for returning campers!.
